I grew up in Düsseldorf, Germany and come from a long line of passionate cooks.

 

I have had a love affair with food from as early as I can remember, helping both my mother and grandmother in their kitchens.  I began my culinary journey in earnest from the time I was 12 years-old.  Whether I was wooing boyfriends or gathering friends and family around a dinner table, food has always been at the heart of all my relationships. Combined with my love of travel, I have gotten to play with (and eat, happily), from all of the major world cuisines.  I love the tapestry of flavors and aromas in ethnic cooking and delight in creating unique fusions of my own.

 

 

Over the past 25 years, I have worked professionally in first class restaurants and bed & breakfasts' as both an executive chef and baker.  I have a unique talent and a passion for both baking and cooking.  My greatest challenge professionally has been the creation of imaginative menus and signature dishes that tantalize all the senses.

 

I love the diversity of events that cooking affords and have enjoyed catering weddings and special events of all sizes.  I have taught cooking classes ranging from an intimate gathering of friends to large cooking demonstrations.  I am always looking for something new and challenging to add to my repertoire, so if you don’t see what you’re looking for – please ask – I would be more than happy to create a one of a kind event for you or your organization.
